Job summary

Texas First Bank is hiring a Client Ambassador to be the first contact for clients entering the banking center. You will deliver excellent customer service, process financial transactions, and promote bank products and services. The role requires attention to detail, strong math aptitude, and the ability to work well in a team.

This position emphasizes cash handling, account opening/closing tasks, and supporting branch sales through referrals. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months’ cash handling/ customer service experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to type and use a ten-key calculator.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong math aptitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work additional hours when requested.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Credit and background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
• Answer incoming calls, provide information, and route calls appropriately.
• Perform teller functions including cashing checks, deposits, withdrawals, and verify negotiability of instruments.
• Open, maintain, and close accounts using bank systems and documentation.
• Promote bank products and services based on client needs and relationship history.
• Handle safe deposit box transactions and night depository services.
• Sort and process mail and execute mail transactions.
• Support branch sales goals through referrals and promotion of services like ATM cards and online banking.
• Open and close the banking center as needed.
