Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking an entry-level Customer Service representative to promptly respond to customer inquiries, provide quotations, enter orders, and maintain relationships in a defined market base. The hybrid role is based at our corporate office in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities include processing orders, communicating order status, and coordinating with logistics and sales teams. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in customer service, strong communication skills, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Two+ years of customer service in an office environment.
• Experience in manufacturing or logistics is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using Excel.
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrated ability to work calmly in a fast-paced team environment.
• Willing to be adaptable and flexible in a changing work environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and support customers' orders and inquiries related to their market.
• Answer calls and handle email inquiries with courteous and timely service.
• Inform customers of order status and any changes.
• Adhere to attendance standards.
• Coordinate with transportation, planning, engineering and sales.
• Create cases in NetSuite for issue resolution and product design.
• Understand processing EDI orders.
