Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking a Regular team member to provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies assigned. Deliver superior quality service, identifying and understanding the client’s financial needs.

Cross-trained to support sales and service activities, with a focus on outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients with courteous conversation and handling complex and standardized transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions like ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales by outbound client outreach and identifying client needs.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training activities.
• Advance product knowledge through meetings and training classes.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, handling workload based on branch demands.
