Job summary

TD Bank is seeking an Associate Banker I in Glassboro, NJ to greet clients and manage front-desk flow, delivering a high-touch banking experience in a busy financial center.

You will perform everyday transactions, identify client needs, educate on products, and connect customers with specialists to help reach financial goals while upholding TD's risk and regulatory standards. This role requires 40 hours weekly, with possible evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year demonstrated experience working with clients (including volunteering, education, or military).
• Teller or cash-handling experience in a client-facing/financial institution preferred.
• Ability to work during operating hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent.
• Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Notary License preferred.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for clients as they serve as hospitality ambassador of the bank location.
• Delivers accurate, efficient everyday banking transactions while deepening relationships and referring clients to appropriate partners.
• Educates clients on banking products and self-serve solutions while recommending solutions for routine transactions.
• Performs a broad range of client transactions within established financial limits.
• Identifies and assesses client problems in straightforward situations and escalates non-standard issues internally.
