Position Overview:

Zones Client Executives are experienced business development professionals who focus on driving revenue and margin growth within major/global clients. Client Executives collaborate with Engineers, Solution Architects and Software Licensing Sales Executives to develop deep, value add technology solutions for their customers. With a proven record of accomplishment of selling technology solutions (storage, servers, software and professional services) to major/global customers, Client Executives are trusted partners who manage deep account relationships, develop strategic sales plans and thrive on driving results. This Client Executive role is seeking a candidate who has existing professional relationships with major/global companies who are based in the East Region.

What you’ll do as the Client Executive:

  1. Building relationships within an assigned region in person and selling Zones Life Cycle Information technology solutions to clients
  2. Driving profitably and developing target accounts in partnership with Field Account Executives assigned to portfolios
  3. Providing in-depth customer technology roadmaps and client account strategies; and collaboratively working with field account executives to uncover new sales opportunities
  4. Developing partnerships with OEM Field Sales Representatives and optimizing joint selling opportunities
  5. Building market awareness of Zones’ global capabilities and Diversity status through participation in local/regional industry events, organizations and affiliations
What you will bring to the team:
  1. BA Degree Preferred
  2. 5+ years of experience in Field-based life-cycle information technology solutions sales
  3. 7+ years required of industry experience in a business development and/or direct quota driven sales role
  4. Value added reseller preferred
  5. Deep understanding of technologies that drive Zones solutions such as:
  6. Data Center
  7. Unified Communications
  8. Security
  9. IOT
  10. Cloud and/or Mobility
  11. Solid “in territory” relationships with partners such as Cisco, EMC, HP, Microsoft, AWS preferred
  12. Proven record of successfully hunting and acquiring new Enterprise size business working with the C-level executives
  13. Experience teaming collaboratively with a field account executive in a high-volume and fast-paced professional environment preferred
  14. Familiarity with a CRM System for strategic pipeline management preferred

Qualified candidates can expect a salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 + Commission
