Deutsche Bank is seeking a Client Enablement Oversight Associate in New York to support the Institutional Client Group's funds onboarding and client coverage. You will coordinate across Credit, Legal, Onboarding Case Management and other teams, partnering with relationship managers to drive a seamless client experience.

The role requires experience in banking/finance with strong stakeholder management and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Proficient relevant work experience in the Banking/Finance industry.
  • Preferred experience in Change, Relationship Management, Legal or Credit Risk functions.
  • Experience facing both clients and senior internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in building and managing business processes with multiple stakeholders and inputters.
  • Ability to see the big picture and define target state processes that are client-centric and efficient.

  • Back up coverage of key ICG clients ensuring funds onboarding and related needs are met efficiently.
  • Track, report and resolve issues to meet client expectations on launch dates and backfill projects.

Overview

Fixed Income & Currencies (FIC) Client Enablement is a function sitting within the broader FIC Chief Operating Officer (COO) Group and plays a key role in driving the strategic revenue and growth initiatives of the Institutional Client Group. Specifically, it aims to deliver: a seamless and competitive client experience when getting counterparties ‘good to trade’ and then dealing with Deutsche Bank; and innovative client relationship management tooling that facilitates effective and profitable client coverage with considered allocation of resource You’ll perform a client-facing role covering several of the Institutional Client Group’s (ICG’s) highest priority clients. You’ll be responsible for managing their funds onboarding pipeline with them proactively; organizing and coordinating functional inputs to the internal process – (across Credit, Legal, Onboarding Case Management etc.) and face off directly to the key relationship managers in ICG. This will be a key area of strategic development in the short to medium term as ICG looks to establish a competitive edge that can drive deepened client relationships and revenue growth. You’ll be responsible for setting up structured reporting and tracking from which ICG can monitor its functional performance with key clients with a view to tracking and affecting client experience trends.

What You’ll Do
  • Back up coverage of key ICG clients making sure that their funds onboarding and related needs are met efficiently; assist the primary coverage in tracking, reporting and resolving issues to effectively meet client expectations – both launch dates and backfill projects
  • Close partnership with all functions impacting the funds onboarding processes ensuring key resources are made available as required and all working shared and well articulated priorities
  • Supporting the Foreign Exchange (FX) desk in meeting both its new client growth objectives and plugging the gaps with existing clients
  • Help improve and drive change for the end-to-end FX onboarding process
  • Assist with supporting regional growth initiatives through tracking, reporting and producing MI / presentations to be used for senior management
Skills You’ll Need

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model. Deutsche Bank provides reasonable accommodations to candidates and employees with a substantiated need based on disability and/or religion. The salary range for this position in New York City is $90,000 - $110,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
