Job summary

Nexera is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Consultant to embed with client teams, design AI-powered solutions, and deliver end-to-end production deployments. This remote-first role involves direct client engagement, translating business problems into working software with measurable impact.

You will own the full solution lifecycle, stay current on agentic AI tools, and drive organizational change management to ensure adoption. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Five-plus years of experience building production business solutions.
• Experience with AI agents and AI-powered development tools in production workflows.
• Consulting or client-facing experience preferred: manage stakeholders and deliver under pressure in someone else's environment.
• Strong communication and customer management skills: explain architecture to VPs and pair-program with juniors.

Responsibilities

• Discover and define high-value business problems with customers.
• Design and build AI-powered solutions end-to-end including architecture and production deployment.
• Deploy and secure deployment pipelines and ensure enterprise-grade reliability and security.
• Evaluate and iterate using real-world performance and customer feedback.
• Drive adoption: train end users, build documentation, and ensure solutions are embraced.
• Innovate by defining agentic workflows and tools to improve product design and the SDLC.
