Job summary

First State Insurance Agency in Farmington, MO is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to build relationships through outstanding service and clear communication. You will work with the Commercial Sales team to issue new, renewal, or cancel accounts, and report claims or services needed.

The role requires 2–5 years in insurance account management, proficiency in AMS360 and MS Office, and Missouri Property & Casualty license.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and producers
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and AMS360

Responsibilities

• Confer with customers by telephone, email or in-person to provide information about products and services, to issue new/renewal or cancel accounts, or to obtain & report details of claims or services needed
• Read and verify policies for accuracy
• Keep records of customer interactions and transactions in the agency management system
• Become familiar with each insurance carrier's product lines, underwriting process and websites
• Deliver and prepare Summary of Insurance for producer and house accounts on a timely basis
• Prepare new business and renewal submissions to be forwarded to carriers for quoting
• Compare quotes and coverage options, prepare a marketing spreadsheet with best options for the customer
• Bind coverage, collect deposits or down payments, and arrange billing
• Issue certificates of insurance, process policy changes, and handle endorsements and audits
