Job summary

S&ME in Charleston, South Carolina is seeking a motivated Client Developer to lead business development for its environmental, geotechnical, and construction materials testing teams. Based in our Charleston office, you will partner with Project Management, Communications, and Marketing to grow client connections and expand the local portfolio.

This full-time role requires 4+ years of BD experience, a relevant degree, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of technical and/or business development experience in Commercial Real Estate, Architecture, Construction, and Engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Existing relationships with A/E/C industry Designers, Contractors, and Owners.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with local leadership to drive office revenue objectives.
• Represent the company in the local market and expand client partnerships.
• Coordinate local marketing efforts and sponsorships to boost brand presence.
• Support proposal development and submission of SOQs/RFQs to win projects.
• Lead recurring business development discussions and mentor staff.
