Role Summary
We’re looking for a proactive and highly driven Client Development Associate to support our commercial efforts and help drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate is client-focused, creative, and a self-starter who enjoys the excitement of and opportunities afforded by a high-growth organization. This role will work closely with our Chief Operating Officer and broader sales and client team to streamline prospect engagement, enhance client relationships, manage sales tools and processes, and support marketing and event initiatives.

This job is 100% remote, but we have employees near Chicago. Preference for candidates in the greater Chicagoland area is preferred for occasional in-person meetings.

Core Responsibilities
  1. Prospect Management & Sales Support
    • Manage inbound leads, coordinate outreach, and schedule discovery calls.
    • Collaborate with sales team to assign call ownership and follow-up.
    • Track next steps and craft follow-ups to move opportunities through the pipeline.
    • Maintain prospect lists and engagement records in our CRM (HubSpot).
    • Re-engage stalled opportunities through targeted outreach.
    • This role has potential to grow into full-cycle prospect and client engagement under supervision.
  2. Sales/Marketing & Content Coordination
    • Tailor sales collateral to client needs for proposals and business cases.
    • Ensure consistency and version control for sales and marketing materials.
    • Maintain and update content libraries for internal and client use.
    • Support social media strategy and content creation.
    • Assist with marketing campaigns, webinars, book launches, and event follow-up.
  3. Client Relationship Support
    • Support existing client relationships, monitor needs, and identify expansion opportunities.
    • Partner with client services to set up check-ins.
    • Share best practices internally for future sales and delivery.
  4. Sales Operations & Administration
    • Manage CRM records, maintain pipeline accuracy, document next steps.
    • Support contracting and documentation processes.
    • Manage sales forecasting with leadership.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years in sales operations, business development, or client support role.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (preferably HubSpot).
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $60k-$75k plus performance bonus.
