Role Summary
We’re looking for a proactive and highly driven Client Development Associate to support our commercial efforts and help drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate is client-focused, creative, and a self-starter who enjoys the excitement of and opportunities afforded by a high growth organization. This role will work closely with our Chief Operating Officer and broader sales and client team team to streamline prospect engagement, enhance client relationships, manage sales tools and processes, and support marketing and event initiatives.
This job is 100% remote, but we have a number of employees near Chicago. We would prefer someone in the greater Chicagoland area, as this would make it easy to get together for very occasional working sessions or team building.
Core Responsibilities
Prospect Management & Sales Support
- Manage inbound leads, coordinate initial outreach, and schedule discovery calls.
- Collaborate with sales team members to assign call ownership and ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Track next steps and craft follow-ups to keep opportunities moving through the pipeline.
- Maintain and update active prospect lists and engagement records in our CRM (HubSpot).
- Re-engage stalled opportunities through targeted outreach and thought leadership.
- This role has the potential to grow into selective full-cycle prospect and client engagement under the supervision and/or collaboration with our sales team.
Sales/Marketing &Content Coordination
- Tailor existing sales collateral to client needs to build sales proposals and business cases that resonate with prospects
- Ensure consistency and version control for sales decks and marketing materials.
- Maintain and update sales collateral and content libraries for internal use and client-facing materials.
- Collaborate on social media strategy and content to drive brand visibility and inbound interest.
- Support upcoming marketing campaigns and special projects, including webinars, book launches,
or event follow-up.
Client Relationship Support
- Collaborate with team members to support existing client relationships by monitoring ongoing needs and spotting expansion opportunities, such as additional cohorts, eLearning licenses, etc.
- In partnership with client services team, set up and monitor check-in processes with clients
- Help capture and share internal “best practices” to inform future sales conversations and delivery.
Sales Operations &Administration
- Manage CRM records, maintain pipeline accuracy, and ensure next steps are documented.
- Support contracting and documentation processes, including agreements/contracts by
coordinating leadership.
- Manage the monthly sales forecasting process in partnership with the leadership team.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a sales operations, sales/business development, or client-facing support role
- Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and project management skills
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Competitive base salary ($60k-75k, depending upon level of experience) plus performance bonus tied to quota attainment
