Job summary

Occulytics Inc. in Chicago is seeking a Data & AI Delivery Lead to scale our consulting practice. You will own engagements from kickoff to completion, working with leadership and engineering teams to drive execution and deliver value to operators, investors, and executives.

This client-facing role focuses on turning complex data and AI initiatives into tangible outcomes, ensuring on-time delivery, risk management, and high-quality, decision-ready outputs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering data, analytics, or AI projects.
• Familiarity with data workflows from ingestion through modeling to BI.
• Strong communicator, in writing and in person.
• Experience using AI agents to optimize delivery.
• Disciplined project manager with strong planning and scope control.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We’re hiring a Data & AI Delivery Lead to help scale our consulting practice and deliver exceptional outcomes for clients. You'll take engagements once they're scoped and own them from kickoff through completion: working closely with leadership and engineering teams to drive execution, manage client relationships, anticipate risk, and ensure every commitment lands on time or ahead of schedule.

This is a client-facing role where you'll turn complex data and AI initiatives into outcomes operators, investors, and executives can understand, trust, and act on.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Delivery Leadership

• Own delivery across multiple client engagements from kickoff through close


• Keep delivery anchored to the client's objectives. Ensure the team understands what we're building, why it matters, and what success looks like


• Lead client and internal meetings. Set the agenda, drive decisions, and own the follow-through


• Take a scoped engagement and turn it into an executable delivery plan. Manage timelines, dependencies, and evolving requirements, and keep the team aligned


• Proactively identify delivery risks, manage scope, and make sure clients always understand where things stand


• Manage vendors and delivery partners. Keep their work on scope, on time, and to standard


• Use AI agents to accelerate delivery, improve quality, and rethink how work gets done


• Contribute to building standardized, repeatable approaches as we scale

Delivery Quality

• Translate complex technical work into business-friendly deliverables that answer the actual question a client is asking


• Hold the quality bar on what ships. Make sure the output is clear, correct, and decision-ready, not just complete


• Run hands-on validation. Spot-check data, sanity-check KPIs, and test agent outputs

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of experience delivering data, analytics, or AI projects, with a track record of successfully managing complex client-facing engagements


• Working familiarity with modern data and analytics workflows, from ingestion through modeling to BI. You've partnered closely with engineers, data scientists, analysts, and technical teams to deliver successful outcomes


• A strong communicator, in writing and in person. You can lead a room and push back with a client when it matters


• Clear, practical experience using AI agents to optimize delivery


• A disciplined project manager with strong planning and scope control


• Experience managing vendors or delivery partners


• Curious about the client's business. Eager to learn how senior living communities operate


• Consulting or client-services experience is highly preferred, but not required

• Base: $110,000
