Job summary

Talbots at Plaza Frontenac in St. Louis, MO, seeks a Regular/Part-time associate to deliver exceptional customer experiences and foster lasting relationships with shoppers. You will support sales, participate in events, and promote Talbots’ brand through courteous service, fashion guidance, and teamwork.

Ideal candidates are people-oriented, reliable, and able to handle evenings, weekends, and holidays with a friendly, proactive approach. 20–29 hours weekly expected.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service mindset and ability to build relationships with shoppers.
• Proven sales aptitude with goal-orientated approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and foster a culture of hospitality through exceptional customer experiences and build enduring relationships both internally and externally.
• Support service enhancers to build strong relationships including active use of Concierge.
• Achieve sales and service metrics in key measurable areas including: Clientelling/Outreach, Appointment Setting, Talbots Classic Awards etc.
• Plan and prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet the needs of the customer and business.
• Seek to understand customer needs & wants with curiosity and confidence through intentional conversation.
• Share current products and fashion trends with customers to appropriately wardrobe, inspire and build trust.
• Actively participate in community/store activities and events that promote the Talbots Brand.
• Professionally represent the brand image.
