Job summary

Talbots in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate who brings fashion sense and customer care to every interaction. You will use product knowledge to create outfits and build brand relationships while delivering exceptional service.

You will thrive in a fast-paced store, stay aware of fashion trends, and support management in daily operations. Must be able to stand long hours, lift up to 40 lbs, and have open availability including evenings and weekends.

• Able to bend, reach, stretch for product and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Open availability of 15 to 20 hours per week; flexible including evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer service experience that promotes the product and builds brand relationships.
• Assist management in building store business and service enhancers.
• Service multiple customers at a time, multitask and handle projects.
• Stay current on fashion trends and product knowledge to create outfits for customers.
• Maximize performance through learning opportunities, coaching and feedback.
• Achieve sales and service metrics including clientelling, outreach and events.
• Complete operational projects: filling orders, replenishment and recovery.
