Job summary

Talbots Plaza Frontenac in Missouri is seeking a part-time sales associate to deliver exceptional customer experiences and build lasting relationships with clients. You will assist customers with fashion selections, promote the Talbots brand, and contribute to achieving store sales and service goals.

The role requires proactive outreach, strong communication, and a willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Technological aptitude to navigate POS/iPad/handheld systems.
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Create and foster a culture of hospitality through exceptional customer experiences and build enduring relationships.
• Support service enhancers to build strong relationships including active use of Concierge.
• Achieve sales and service metrics in key areas like Clientelling/Outreach and Appointments.
• Plan and prioritize tasks to meet customer and business needs.
• Share product knowledge and fashion trends to inspire customers and build trust.
• Participate in store activities and events to promote the Talbots brand.
