Wettermark Keith Law Firm in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Client Liaison for its personal injury pre-litigation department. The liaison will be the consistent point of contact for clients as injury and vehicle claims move forward, gathering timely updates and helping attorneys respond to client needs.

This on-site, full-time role requires a patient communicator who can manage a busy caseload and make clients feel heard and informed.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client conversations and follow-up tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfort discussing sensitive medical and financial circumstances while protecting confidentiality.
• Prior experience in a law office, personal injury practice, medical office, or insurance setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for assigned personal injury clients, return calls and messages promptly, and explain the next steps in the pre-litigation process in clear, courteous language.
• Check in with clients about symptoms, treatment, appointments, referrals, missed visits, and changes in their recovery; record updates in the case management system and alert the team to developments.
• Discuss vehicle damage status and total loss claims with clients; coordinate follow-up with the attorney or team member.
• Assist attorneys and staff with routine client communications, status updates, appointment coordination, and requests for information or documents.
• Track open client questions and needed follow-up; keep organized notes and tasks; ensure important issues reach the attorney or staff promptly.
• Handle frustrated or anxious clients with professionalism and empathy; maintain confidentiality and set realistic expectations.
• Escalate questions requiring legal advice to an attorney; communicate decisions to clients as directed.
