Job summary

First Interstate in Loveland, CO is seeking a Teller to handle daily transactions in both lobby and drive-up areas. You will deliver excellent client service, recognize referral opportunities, and maintain relationships across the bank’s products and services.

The role requires strong math and communication skills, discretion with confidential information, and attention to detail, with training provided to expand product knowledge and ensure accuracy in all tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; cash handling experience preferred.
• Strong discretion with confidential/sensitive information.
• Good math, written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle teller transactions for lobby and drive-up with accuracy.
• Provide outstanding client service and answer questions in person or by phone.
• Process deposits, loan payments, currency, checks, and related tasks.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer clients to bankers.
• Record activities and referrals in 360View system.
• Process credit card applications and special client requests.
• Reconcile cash drawer and maintain cash supplies.
• Follow banking procedures, security rules, and dual-control tasks.
• Maintain client confidentiality and participate in training sessions.
• Support teammates to achieve branch goals and adapt to scheduling.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and ensure low error work.
• Participate in volunteer activities and other duties as assigned.
