Job summary

Synovus is seeking a Financial Specialist – Floating to deliver distinctive service across client interactions, in person or by phone, while expanding relationships and promoting a highly engaged client experience.

This role supports banking transactions, new account opening, and a range of services, with responsibility to respond to inquiries, maintain accuracy, and comply with banking regulations and firm policies in a fast-paced office setting.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or related software.
• Knowledge of federal banking regulations and compliance.
• Broad knowledge of bank products and services.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical and mathematical reasoning with problem-solving ability.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily tasks with good time-management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy under pressure.
• Excellent client service skills; tact and diplomacy with clients and staff.
• Physical ability to stand/sit for prolonged periods and perform manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide distinctive service to clients and prospects in person or by phone.
• Respond to inquiries, resolve issues, greet clients, and assist with banking transactions.
• Open new accounts, process paperwork, verify credentials, and obtain documentation.
• Refer clients to Trust, Investments, Insurance, and Treasury Management when appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with firm policies and applicable regulations; monitor reports and risk.
