Job summary

KeyBank in Utica, NY is seeking a friendly teller to provide excellent in-person service, process transactions accurately, and identify client needs for financial wellness opportunities. You’ll help customers with deposits, withdrawals, and account servicing while maintaining security procedures.

As a teller, you’ll engage clients, refer them to a banker when appropriate, and participate in daily huddles and branch teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent business experience.
• Experience in a client service role is required.
• Experience in cash handling is required.
• General understanding of PC with Windows-based applications is required.
• Notary License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person teller services with accuracy and courtesy.
• Identify and resolve client servicing issues and escalate when needed.
• Assist clients with deposits, withdrawals, and account servicing while promoting financial wellness.
• Balance cash drawer and follow security procedures.
• Attend in-person morning huddles and end-of-day debriefs.
