Orrstown Bank is seeking a Banking Specialist II to serve as a primary representative at the financial center, processing transactions and supporting client servicing and new accounts. You will engage in conversations to discover needs, align solutions, and balance risk with client experience.

The role emphasizes strong communication, accuracy in teller tasks, and collaboration with partners to meet quarterly goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in related banking positions.
• NMLS Registry required post hire.
• Preferred: Bank product and services training.
• Familiarity with financial software.

Responsibilities

• Engage in client conversation to meet quarterly/annual goals (deposit growth, credit card sales) and support partner referrals.
• Identify sales and service opportunities.
• Support marketing and sales strategies through outbound client contact.
• Perform teller transactions accurately and balance cash drawer when needed.
• Assist with branch opening and end-of-day processes.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating systems for new accounts and service transactions.
• During absence of Branch Executive Officer, oversee branch vault, cash shipments, and ATM cash management.
• Mentor new associates through on-the-job training and shadowing.
• Understand and apply Bank BSA/AML policy and report suspicious activity.
• Complete required annual regulation, sales and service training.
