Job summary

KeyCorp's Portland branch is seeking a Personal Banker to engage clients and develop relationships, guiding them toward financial wellness both in person and by phone. You will attract new clients and deepen existing relationships, aligning recommendations with clients' goals.

As a client-first, sales-driven professional, you will collaborate with teammates to deliver personalized banking solutions, ensuring compliance and delivering superior service in a busy branch environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in developing current and new customer relationships and achieving sales goals.
• Understanding of consumer credit, including credit reports.
• Experience with prospecting and networking to build referrals.
• Comfortable with small business clients, overcoming objections, and fact-finding questions.

Responsibilities

• Opening personal and business accounts (checking, deposits, etc.).
• Developing strong partnerships with branch teammates and centers of influence.
• Ensuring compliance with operational, risk, security and audit procedures.
• Assist with teller transactions as needed.
• Participate in morning huddles and end-of-day debriefs.
• Work Saturdays as directed by management.
