Center Veterinary Clinic in San Diego is looking for a full-time Client Care Representative to greet clients and their pets, set the tone for visits, and keep the reception running smoothly.

You will schedule appointments, answer questions, and assist with check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate documentation and friendly, professional service in a fast-paced veterinary environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year in a customer service role in an animal hospital
• Familiarity with veterinary terminology and protocols
• Manage cash handling and financial transactions

Responsibilities

• Create exceptional first impressions by warmly greeting clients and their pets, making them feel welcome from the moment they contact our practice.
• Skillfully manage multi-line phone systems, gather and document information accurately, and convey pet care instructions clearly.
• Master appointment scheduling, confirmations, and check-ins/check-outs with proper documentation.
• Coordinate with departments to alert when patients arrive and keep patient files updated and organized.
• Maintain a clean, inviting reception area to support a positive experience for clients and their pets.

About This Role

As a full-time Client Care Representative, you'll be the warm, welcoming face of our veterinary practice! In this vital front-line position, you'll create positive first impressions with our clients and set the tone for their entire experience with us. You'll be the compassionate bridge between our clients and their beloved pets' care, guiding pet parents through appointments, answering questions, and ensuring smooth operations at our reception area. This role combines your people skills, organizational abilities, and genuine love for animals to help us deliver exceptional veterinary care.
