Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a Care Team Supervisor for our Personal Care Services team in South Orange, NJ. This full-time, on-site role supports caregivers, coordinates client services, and helps ensure clients receive the care they need when they need it.

You will lead a fast-paced team, manage schedules, review service authorizations, and mentor caregivers while partnering with payroll and operations. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with competitive pay of $21–$23 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with elderly or disabled populations preferred.
• Five+ years in a fast-paced office or healthcare environment preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and home care operations preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong computer and documentation skills.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Bilingual fluency may be required based on location.
• Reliable transportation with local travel capability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and supporting the delivery of Personal Care Services to clients in the community.
• Maintaining accurate client records, plans of care, caregiver schedules, and required documentation.
• Monitoring daily staffing needs and caregiver availability to ensure client coverage.
• Reviewing service authorizations and aligning services with approved hours.
• Providing leadership, coaching, guidance, and support to caregivers.
• Ensuring training, documentation, and other employment requirements are met.
• Conducting caregiver orientations as needed.
• Partnering with payroll and timekeeping to address questions and discrepancies.
• Reviewing utilization and operational reports to address issues impacting service delivery.
• Communicating with caregivers, clients, case managers, and branch leadership.
• Supporting branch growth initiatives and operational planning.
• Maintaining licensure, payer, contractual, and regulatory compliance.
• Representing Elara Caring professionally within the South Orange community.
• Supporting additional projects and priorities as needed.

You’ll Contribute to Our Success By:

• Coordinating and supporting the delivery of Personal Care Services to clients in the community

• Maintaining compliance with applicable licensure, payer, contractual, and regulatory requirements
• Representing Elara Caring professionally within the South Orange community


• Supporting additional projects and operational priorities as needed

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience working with elderly or disabled populations preferred
• Five (5) years of experience in a fast-paced office or healthcare environment preferred


• Working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and home care operations preferred

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish, Mandarin/Cantonese, Russian, or Portuguese may be required based on location


• Reliable personal transportation with the ability to travel locally and occasionally support audits or operational needs
