Job summary

Morrison Foerster (MoFo) is seeking a Client Account Specialist to join our Financial Operations team in San Francisco. You will work with attorneys and clients on billing, e-billing, and collections, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.

You will manage billing tasks, assist with system upgrades, and support account setup and collections. The role requires strong attention to detail and experience in professional services billing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in law firm or professional services billing.
• Large law firm experience preferred.
• Experience with multi-currency bills is a plus.
• Ability to understand and analyze billing information and historical data.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels within and outside the Firm.

Responsibilities

• Produce timely and accurate bills for clients, including e-bills, and perform specific billing and e-billing tasks and projects.
• Manage quality control, deadlines, timely reporting on billing status, and thoroughly analyze special billing arrangements.
• Act as a resource for internal clients and colleagues, troubleshoot procedural issues, and assist systems team with upgrades and testing.
• May directly support assigned billing attorneys in full cycle of account management, including account set up, billing and collection arrangements, and inventory management.
