Job summary

Veterinary United is seeking a Client Ambassador to join our front desk team. You will warmly greet clients and pets, manage phones, schedule appointments, and handle payments to ensure a smooth visit for every client.

The ideal candidate is friendly with people and animals, capable of multitasking in a busy clinic, and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Previous reception experience is preferred in a pet-care setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of prior customer service experience.
• Reception experience highly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working around animals, including those that may be anxious or aggressive.
• Physical requirements: stand, sit, move frequently; bend, kneel, stretch; maintain composure in a high-energy environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and pets upon arrival.
• Answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, update medical charts.
• Process monetary transactions and handle client payments.
• Assist with administrative tasks: filing, data entry, stocking, scanning, uploading records.
• Support kennel and boarding staff with dog walking, feeding, and check-in/check-out.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception area.
