Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Account Manager I to manage a book of insurance business and deliver professional, courteous service to clients, underwriters and colleagues. You may work independently or with a Producer to write new accounts and provide client advocacy and retention.

The role involves handling renewals, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring accurate proposals and binders while maintaining electronic records and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years of insurance industry experience preferred.
• Property & Causality license must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Service day to day client needs including coverage questions and policy changes.
• Manage renewal process, obtain information, quote review and invoicing.
• Review quotes to ensure insurance requirements are included.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
• Delegate work to Associate Account Managers to balance workload.
• Negotiate coverage with underwriters and maintain relationships.
