Description

The Client Advocate is responsible for cultivating and maintaining client relationships, including leading strategy development and execution. They own the E365 Service plan, engage expert resources, and lead pricing and profitability efforts. The CA arranges WTW resources to provide coordinated service and placement to meet the client’s insurance and risk management needs. They are the top Relationship Management colleague for their accounts, with a strong connection to the client’s business and industry, forming a business partnership with client decision makers. They are ultimately responsible for client retention, profitability, and delivering outcomes for their clients. The CA aims to maximize revenue from existing clients, including upselling and growing the account. They lead RFPs, oral presentations, and pitches. As a senior member, they also serve as:

  • A mentor to colleagues
  • A Subject Matter Expert for one or more lines of business
  • A Team Leader

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with some office time and travel to client locations, based either out of Chicago or a West Coast location.

The Role
  • Retains existing book of business and develops and strengthens client relationships, serving as the primary contact
  • Contributes to new business opportunities with new and existing clients
  • Leads the RFP response process, coordinating resources and expertise, and owning the final document
  • Engages with sales and broking to understand marketplace changes
  • Develops a comprehensive understanding of the client’s industry, business, and objectives
  • Provides strategic planning and consulting advice, monitoring insurance and risk management needs, and recommending solutions throughout the policy term
  • Drives the creation and delivery of the E365 Plan and Client Stewardship report
  • Coordinates delivery of all WTW internal resources to enhance the client experience
  • Leads and mentors account team members
  • Maximizes profitability and retention of their book of business
  • Negotiates and delivers fee/compensation agreements
  • Informs client’s insurance program design and strategy in collaboration with Broking
  • Prepares and delivers client presentations, proposals, advocacy reports, and service plans
  • Leads renewal processes, developing renewal strategies and collaborating across groups
  • Ensures compliance with legal, regulatory, and policy requirements
  • Performs other duties to ensure exceptional client experience
