CELINE Madison, a luxury fashion maison, seeks agile, passionate sales professionals to join its Madison Avenue boutique in New York. The role focuses on delivering exceptional client service, hitting store targets, and maintaining the brand image through client books and event promotion.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in luxury retail, strong computer literacy, and a flair for building lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a retail setting, with a focus on sales, preferably in luxury.
• Computer literate; able to learn and use various software packages.

Responsibilities

• Meet individual and store sales targets and consignment goals.
• Incorporate product knowledge in the sales process to maximize sales and transactions.
• Capture customer information for database entry and promote store events.
• Maintain and expand a client book and follow up on shipping or alterations.
• Support shipping, receiving and inventory control; keep the store image.
• Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

YOUR IMPACT:

• Meet individual and store sales targets and consignment goals
• Incorporate product knowledge in the sales process with the result of maximizing sales, units sold per transaction, and the dollar value of each transaction
• Adhere to all company policies
• Capture all relevant customer information for entry in database
• Promote store events through email, phone, and personalized notes
• Maintain and expand a client book
• Consistently follow up with any shipping, alteration, or other issues related to clients
• Assist in general housekeeping and the maintenance of the store image
• Support shipping and receiving and inventory control as requested

Experience:

• Position requires minimum 3 years in a retail setting, with a focus on sales, preferably in a luxury setting
• Computer literate; learn and use various software packages
• Candidates with client books strongly preferred

• Passion for luxury product with an appreciation for design
• Tech Savvy - ability to learn and utilize various software programs

The base compensation for this role ranges from $24.00-29.00 hourly plus commission incentive plan. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
