Job summary

Seacoast National Bank in The Villages, FL seeks a customer-focused Banking Associate to open and maintain accounts, handle cash, and confidently present Seacoast products. You will develop relationships, close sales based on customer needs, and refer clients to internal partners.

You will work a flexible schedule, demonstrate strong communication and teamwork, and maintain AML/BSA compliance while delivering excellent service in a community banking environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months cash handling experience required.
• College degree or 1+ years in retail sales and/or financial services experience required.
• Flexible schedule with ability to work weekends and some non-bank hours.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and show initiative.
• Proficiency with PC/Desktop/Mobile devices and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Open and process accounts, perform account maintenance, process checks, cash and negotiable instrument transactions adhering to bank policies (AML/BSA).
• Ensure branch adheres to AML/BSA, audit procedures, dual control, security, and continuity requirements.
• Balance cash drawer daily and maintain accuracy
• Address customer objections and resolve problems to retain relationships
• Adhere to Seacoast Bank Code of Conduct and safety procedures
• Develop proficiency in consumer deposit and lending products and processes
• Engage in community events and networking to present banking products/services
