Job summary

MCM WORLDWIDE in Chicago is seeking an enthusiastic luxury retail salesperson to join our global brand. You will deliver exceptional service, build relationships with clients, and contribute to an engaging store experience.

You should have at least two years in luxury retail, outstanding communication, a passion for fashion, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with POS systems and MS Office helps you thrive in a dynamic, client-focused atmosphere.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a luxury retail environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of customer service needs and priorities.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment and multitask confidently.
  • A positive, outgoing, high-energy, entrepreneurial, and sales-focused personality.
  • Computer skills, including retail point-of-sale system operation, Word, Excel, and email.
  • Strong desire for fashion and a results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional sales and customer service.
  • Initiate and build relationships and personal business through creative selling, client-book use, mailings, and post-sale follow-up.
  • Exceed monthly sales goals consistently and establish weekly sales plans and selling strategies.
  • Assist in maintaining the visual presentation and general upkeep of the sales floor.
  • Handle customer repairs and advise clients on solutions, including custom design pieces.
  • Assist in inventory management in the stockroom and on the selling floor.
