Job summary

SSC Advisors, Inc. and SSC CPAs P.A. are expanding their Client Accounting Services team, seeking curious and exceptional professionals to act as trusted advisors for clients.

The Associates perform outsourced accounting tasks including prep and analysis of financial statements, payroll processing, tax compliance, and related duties. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, the ability to handle confidential information, and a willingness to learn accounting software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; accounting degree preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office; ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Payroll processing and tax withholding knowledge a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.
• Review and reconcile financial statements against schedules and documentation.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements with timely reporting for clients.
• Calculate, prepare, and submit sales tax returns per regulations.
• Process payroll and payroll-related deductions and filings.
• Prepare and file Forms 1099 and related informational returns.
