The A&A Staff Accountant handles day-to-day fieldwork on accounting and auditing engagements,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or another relevant field required.
• Proficient in use of computers and basic software applications.
• Above average written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform under time pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to travel by air and vehicle.
• Ability to provide own transportation for traveling to client assignments and for personal development programs.
• Overtime work required periodically throughout year.

Responsibilities

• Works on various audit, review, compilation or accounting procedures under direct supervision.
• Prepares financial statements.
• Prepares and reconciles account schedules as required.
• Performs year-end inventory observations.
• Communicates with clients regarding information needed or clarification of issues.
• Actively pursue CPA certification.
