Associa in Western Connecticut seeks a Client Accounting Director to lead the client accounting operations for 115 clients and guide a five-person accounting team. You will ensure accurate financial reporting and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in accounting, strong leadership, and experience in property management. A hands-on leader comfortable with client relationships and cross-department collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Proven leadership and staff management experience.
• Experience in accounting, preferably in property management or real estate.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 5 accounting employees.
• Oversee financial activities for onboarding 115 clients.
• Ensure timely financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations and month-end close.
• Review financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain client relationships and provide financial guidance.
• Coordinate workflow and improve accounting processes and controls.
• Support management with financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with other department directors daily.
