Job summary

Graham & Jones PLLC is expanding its Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS) practice in Fort Worth, TX. This hands-on role involves accounting, financial reporting, and advisory work directly with clients while helping shape processes and service offerings for a growing practice.

You will grow into a leadership role as the practice expands, with compensation based on experience, a performance bonus, and a Safe Harbor 401(k).

About this job

Graham & Jones is expanding its Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS) practice, and we're looking for an experienced accountant who wants to help build it.

This is a hands‑on role with room to grow. You'll initially work directly with clients on accounting, financial reporting, and advisory needs while helping us develop the processes, technology, and service offerings that will support the practice as it expands.

We're looking for someone who enjoys the technical work but also sees the bigger picture. Someone who wants to improve how things are done, build client relationships, and eventually help lead a growing practice.

What You'll Do

Strong accounting fundamentals, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close.

Experience with QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting technology.

Ability to independently manage client accounting responsibilities and recognize when additional guidance is needed.

Sound judgement, curiosity, and a desire to improve processes.

Strong communication skills and an interest in developing client relationships.

An interest in growing into a leadership role as the practice expands.

What We're Looking For

Strong accounting knowledge and experience preparing and reviewing financial statements.

Experience with QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting technology.

The ability to manage client relationships and accounting deliverables independently.

Sound judgement, attention to detail, and a willingness to ask questions.

An interest in building something rather than simply maintaining what's already there.

Experience in public accounting, outsourced accounting, or a controller role would be valuable.
