Job summary

Graham & Jones PLLC in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Tax Manager to lead a growing tax practice serving high-net-worth individuals and families, trusts, partnerships and private businesses. You will review federal and state returns, manage engagements from planning to completion, and serve as the primary client contact while coaching associates and improving firm processes.

We offer a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) with competitive compensation and a performance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• CPA or EA.
• Strong technical tax skills.
• Partnership and trust experience preferred.
• Strong communication and client-service skills.
• Ability to take ownership of engagements and deadlines.

Job description

Graham & Jones is looking for a Tax Manager to join our growing tax practice.

We serve high-net-worth individuals and families, trusts, partnerships, family offices, privately held businesses, and other complex clients. We are looking for someone who can review tax work, manage engagements, communicate directly with clients, solve problems, and help develop the professionals around them.

What You'll Do

Review federal and state tax returns and workpapers

Manage engagements from planning through completion

Serve as the primary contact for many client relationships

Coordinate work across the engagement team

Coach and develop associates and senior associates

Help improve firm processes, technology, and client service

What We're Looking For

5+ years of public accounting tax experience

CPA or EA

Strong technical tax skills

Partnership and trust experience preferred

Strong communication and client-service skills

Ability to take ownership of engagements and deadlines

We are also open to a strong Senior Associate who is ready to prove they can operate at the Manager level.
