Client Accounting Advisory Manager

The successful Client Accounting Advisory Manager candidate will have experience guiding clients on accounting principles, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and strategic vision to provide high-quality advisory services to our diverse client portfolio.

Position responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their accounting needs and providing tailored advisory services
• Oversee the preparation and discussion of financial reports, and analyses to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
• Advise clients on best practices in accounting processes, internal controls, and financial reporting, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within client organizations, recommending and implementing changes as necessary
• Stay current with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends, and educate clients accordingly
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated financial solutions and services to clients
• Manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scopes and budgets
• Prepare and present reports and presentations to clients, prospective clients, stakeholders, and senior management
• Support business development efforts, including the identification of potential clients, proposal writing, and networking

Expectations for consideration

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or consulting
• Proven experience in managing projects in a dynamic environment
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards (GAAP, IFRS), and regulatory compliance
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and work under tight deadlines
• Become familiar with the Firm's policies and procedures
• Works as a team member
• Maintain positive client relations.
• Travel to and from client locations asneeded
