Job summary

MMB+CO is seeking a Client Accounting Services Associate to join our Advisory Division in Latham, NY. You will support bookkeeping, month-end close, and financial reporting while helping with client service and advisory activities.

Collaborate with Senior staff and participate in technology initiatives, dashboard development, and process improvements as part of a growing CAS practice. In-person work is required for the first six months with potential flexibility thereafter.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA, MS Finance, CPA, EA, or other advanced credentials are a plus.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online/Desktop; SAGE or NetSuite is helpful but not required.
• Experience with Power BI, dashboard development, reporting tools, automation, or data analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support bookkeeping, month-end close, account reconciliations and financial reporting activities.
• Assist clients with QuickBooks Online questions, troubleshooting, and general accounting support.
• Support preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Help maintain accurate financial records and client deliverables.
• Participate in client meetings and gain exposure to advisory engagements.
• Role requires in-person work at client sites initially for six months.
