Client Accountant

1-year fixed term contract, with possibility of permanent hiring

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a portfolio of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) and manage client relationships.
• Handle bank and cash administration.
• Manage invoices (accounts payables/receivables).
• Perform bookkeeping, prepare financial reports, working papers, and regulatory reports, primarily based on LuxGAAP.
• Prepare SPVs for audit and coordinate audit processes.
• Prepare tax and VAT returns, FVC reporting, and eCDF filings for SPVs.
• Liaise with third parties.
• Keep client records up to date in internal systems.
• Develop understanding of legal documentation for accurate bookkeeping and transaction execution.
• Participate in required training for personal development.
• Complete timesheets accurately and promptly.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and conscientiousness.
• Knowledge of accounting for financial instruments.
• Experience with LuxGAAP and international accounting standards.
• Proficiency in financial calculations and analysis.
• Professional and friendly demeanor.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and flexible.
• 2 to 4 years’ experience in a Corporate Service Provider, bank, audit firm, PE, or RE company.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional European languages are a plus.
