The Alabama Chapter of the American College of Cardiology is seeking a Client Account Services Specialist to manage accounts receivable, monitor aged AR, and ensure timely collections in line with internal policy.
The role interfaces with attorneys, practice group leaders, and finance leadership to resolve billing discrepancies, develop collection strategies, and implement payment plans, with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
Under the direction of the Director of Billing and Revenue, the Client Account Services Specialist is responsible for monitoring aged accounts receivable (AR) and ensuring the timely collection of payments in accordance with the firm’s internal collection policy. This role involves reconciling financial data, reviewing delinquencies and payment anomalies, and executing collection strategies to resolve outstanding balances. The Client Account Services Specialist serves as a liaison between clients, attorneys, legal administrative assistants, and Accounting and Finance leadership to address billing discrepancies, payment issues, and unallocated funds. The Client Account Services Specialist is also responsible for meeting with Practice Group Leaders and Partners and developing strategies for collections, communicating with clients regarding outstanding A/R and devising payment plans, and coordinates work with cash receipts and collections staff.
The base salary for this position is expected to be between $75,000 to $85,000 annually. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
