Job summary

Montgomery College in Rockville, MD seeks a Full-Time Public Safety Compliance Specialist to oversee Clery Act compliance programs and related safety initiatives. The role requires managing youth protection and DAAPP programs, with regular 40-hour weeks and telework eligibility two days per week.

The incumbent will supervise data collection, reporting, and training development, and will coordinate with Campus Security and other college offices to ensure regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field is required or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Three years of experience in public safety including Clery Act compliance administration and related regulatory compliance.
• Three years of experience developing and delivering training and/or program management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Clery Act compliance program and ensure institutional policy implementation.
• Lead Youth Protection and DAAPP programs and provide compliance guidance.
• Develop training materials, deliver mandatory trainings, and monitor program effectiveness.
• Prepare and review annual security reporting and emergency management procedures.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure campus-wide compliance.
