Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; medical terminology familiarity helpful.
• Clerkship Coordinator Certificate Program completed or expected within 18 months.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office and online tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials, resources, and information are available for the medical student program.
• Coordinate faculty and resident participation, schedules, and evaluations.
• Maintain RUBlackboard and Clerkship handbooks; distribute schedules.
• Monitor patient logging compliance and generate progress reports.
• Coordinate rotations, orientations, and preceptor assignments across sites.
• Prepare and update student grade reports and evaluation documentation.
• Assist with CME-related speaker coordination and site visits as needed.
