Primary Purpose: Ensure the accuracy of payroll records and processing.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

• High School Diploma or GED

Special Knowledge Skills:

• 10-Key and database systems preferred

Experience:

• Two years of Texas School District Payroll Systems preferred

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Substitute/Part-time monthly payroll:

• Preview and approve all supplemental pay and substitute pay
• Process substitute/part-time new hires, exits, and changes
• Run the payroll warrant through completion
• Print and prepare checks for distribution
• Provide support for all payroll inquiries

Full-time monthly payroll:

• Preview and approve all supplemental pay
• Key all deduction adjustments (refunds and double deductions)
• Setup/Maintain all direct deposits recordsli>
• Setup/Maintain employee/dependent insurance changes

Special Assignments:

• Secretary training for time entry batches (requires travel)
• Process assigned deduction billings.
