The basics of this position:

Performs data entry, filing, record keeping, and answering phones in a department office; orders supplies and maintains inventory.

What you'll do:

  • Enters and verifies information in the computer. Issues stock items and office supplies as needed.
  • Maintains filing systems to ensure accurate and complete department records.
  • Types files or inventory cards as required.
  • Orders supplies and manages inventory.
  • Screens phone calls, answers questions, or forwards calls to appropriate personnel.
  • Uses telephone, computer, copier, calculator.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education, experience, and other requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent and over three (3) months of relevant full-time general clerical experience.
