First National Bank of America is actively looking for a self-driven Correspondent Loan Coordinator to become part of our dynamic team. In this capacity, the individual will play a key role in facilitating communication between our Sales and Due Diligence departments, ensuring timely responses to lender inquiries. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently and be a valuable team player, consistently approaching interactions with external and internal customers with a proactive and helpful attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Review mortgage loan applications to ensure accuracy and completeness, validate data to determine information matches provided documents
• Communicate with loan partners via phone and email
• Examine loan commitments for accuracy and completeness, work between loan origination partners and banks due diligence staff to secure any documents needed to purchase the loan
• Assist lenders struggling to maintain FNBA's quick-paced turn times and loan purchasing
• Meet all departmental goals for productivity, quality, and turnaround time
• Remain up to date and knowledgeable on all of FNBA’s policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, but interact in a team-oriented environment
• Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced operations center while practicing sound lending judgment
• Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms
