Job summary

The Fire Department, City of New York (FDNY), seeks a full-time Clerical Associate Level IV to join the Bureau of General Administrative Services. Reporting directly to the Deputy Director, the selected candidate will support the coordination and oversight of the Bureau’s administrative and operational functions. Responsibilities include managing Central Stores and Speedi-Dri orders, maintaining accurate records of all Department-wide orders and remaining firehouse allotment balances, processing and tracking goods and service requests, coordinating conference room and auditorium scheduling, and monitoring requests through completion. The candidate will also prepare reports, address operational issues, and help ensure services, supplies, and materials are provided accurately and on time in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
Qualification Requirements

A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.

Skills Requirement

Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.

Proficient in MS Office
