As a Clerical Assistant 1, you will be key in providing vital clerical and office support within the Cook Forest State Park Complex, including Ridge Campground, Cook Forest, and Clear Creek Park offices. Your welcoming presence will be invaluable as you warmly greet visitors and provide them with essential information about the park. You will assist in the camp and cabin rental process, ensuring visitors have everything they need for an enjoyable stay.
In addition to distributing informative literature that enhances their experience, you will guide individuals to the correct locations and efficiently collect any necessary information. Your ability to thoughtfully manage phone calls by screening and routing them will also contribute to a smooth visitor experience. Your efforts will help create a supportive and informative atmosphere, ensuring guests feel valued and well-informed during their visit. This position in the state park office lobby will allow you to engage with many visitors, particularly during the peak season, making it a rewarding opportunity.
