Job summary
The Florida Commission on Offender Review is seeking a Government Analyst II – CS within the Office of Clemency Investigations in Tallahassee. The analyst will research and prepare information for clemency investigations for the Commissioners and the Governor and Cabinet, and analyze procedures to ensure compliance with Clemency Board directives.
Responsibilities include preparing executive case summaries, supporting capital punishment reviews, and maintaining proficiency with criminal justice
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or four years criminal justice work experience may substitute for the college education.
- Minimum of two years investigative experience.
Responsibilities
- Research and prepare information for clemency investigations for the Commissioners and Governor and Cabinet.
- Analyze processes and ensure directives from the Clemency Board are functioning effectively.
- Prepare capital punishment case briefs and Restoration of Civil Rights summaries.
- Develop training materials and update procedural manuals for clemency operations.
- Maintain knowledge of FCIC/NCIC, CDC, CCIS, PACER, DAVID, MAC, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Word, and Excel.
