Job summary

HKEX is seeking an operations specialist to provide support for clearing of cash equities, derivatives and OTC markets, handling exceptions and ensuring smooth daily workflows. You will collaborate with internal teams and market participants to implement new products and services.

Responsibilities include gathering user requirements, supporting UAT, and building strong relationships through reliable service and prompt issue resolution.

Qualifications

• University degree, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Accountancy, Economics or related discipline.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in financial industry, back-office operations or cash management.
• Knowledge of fixed income products is an advantage.
• Strong English and Chinese communication; Putonghua proficiency is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and administrative support to clearing operations for cash equities, derivatives and OTC markets.
• Resolve exceptions and contingency situations promptly and professionally.
• Liaise with internal teams and external counterparties on daily operations and new products/services.
