Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Required - Unarmed) in Sterling, VA. As a Cleared Security Officer, you will protect personnel, property, and information and receive site-specific training tied to your clearance level.

Temporary overnights Sunday to Thursday 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.; Active DoD Secret Clearance required; Security Experience - +1 years; Valid Driver's License per AU policy; Pay rate $27.05 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism.
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information.
• Greet guests and employees and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel.
• Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms.
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations.
