Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Full Time Cleared Security Officer for an overnight, on-site role. The position requires a DoD clearance, 2+ years security experience, and a HS diploma or equivalent. The officer will provide professional security services, conduct site patrols, greet guests, and respond to alarms.

This role offers weekly pay at $26 per hour, with benefits and ongoing paid training. Prior military or DoD-cleared site experience is preferred, and licensing requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Minimum of three years of security experience on a DoD-cleared site or prior military experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate wireless technology at client sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism.
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure protection of people and assets.
• Greet guests and employees and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry/exit points.
• Follow site-specific manuals and post orders; report safety concerns and incidents via written and oral communication.
• Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms.
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations.
